From the Planning and Zoning Committee, March 27th, 1979 recommending that the rezoning application, R#3~79, to rezone properties at 1515, 1545, and 1559 Pitt River Road, described as Lot A and Rem. of Lot B, Block 9, District Lot 232, Plan 3613 and Lots 354 and 355, District 232, Plan 33046, proceed to Public Hearing. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Traboulay: That as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Committee, March 27th, 1979 the rezoning application, R#3~79, to rezone properties at 1515, 1545, and 1559 Pitt River Road, described as Lot A and Rem. of Lot B, Block 9, District Lot 232, from RS-2 to RS-1 for a 46-lot subdivision, proceed to Public Hearing. Carried, Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution discussion ensued. Alderman Ranger made reference to the Development Cost Charge By~law and Alderman Traboulay asked that the servicing costs be prepared for the Public Hearing. Mr. J. Pennington, owner of the above mentioned property was present. Alderman Laking then stated that the poultry farm business would have to be terminated before the final approval of the rezoning could take place. Discussion was held on the requirement for the relocation of the existing walkway on Morrison Street to line up with Taylor Street. Mr. Pennington advised he was aware of these requirements.
