From the Public Works Committee, March 28th, 1978 recommending that no further one-way lanes be established in the downtown area until a system can be established as follows: Lane West of Shaughnessy - One-way Northbound Lane East of Shaughnessy ~- One~way Southbound Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Traboulay: That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, March 28th, 1978 no further one-way lanes be established in the downtown area until a system can be established as follows: Lane West of Shaughnessy - One-way Northbound Lane East of Shaughnessy - One-way Southbound Tabled. Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution Mayor Campbell advised that the new engineer is presently dealing with traffic situations and the Traffic Committee could consult with him for further study on the traffic system. From the Public Works Committee, March 28th, 1978 recommending the provision of a sub-lease to enable the City to regulate the parking at the Chevron property, being 2525 Shaughnessy Street, used by the patrons of the Marpole Avenue Liquor Store. Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Traboulay: That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, March 28th, 1978 a sub-lease be provided to enable the City to regulate the parking at the Chevron property, being 2525 Shaughnessy Street.
