July 22nd, 1974 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on July 22nd, 1974 at 7:30 p.m. Acting Mayor Alderman J.J. Keryluk, Aldermen L.M. Traboulay, M.A. Thompson, and P.F, Ranger in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P.Eng., Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Recreation Director J. Taylor, Works and Utilities Superintendent G. Ulmer and Planning Officer L. Lee. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Alderman Ranger pointed out to Council that a correction was required on page 12 of the minutes. to Alderman Ranger saould read Alderman Laking. Moved by Alderman Thompson: Seconded by Alderman Ranger: That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council held on Tyly 8th > 1974, as corrected, be adopted. Carried. CORRESPONDENCE & REPORTS FOR INFORMATION: From the Senior Building Inspector being a report of building permits issued for the month of June, 1974. This report was received for information. From the S.P.C.A., July 2, 1974 being a report of the $.P.C.A, opera- tions for the month of June, 1974. This report was received for information. From the R.C.M.P., July 12, 1974 being a report from the Inspector in Charge of the Coquitlam Detachment for the month of June, 1974. This report was received for information. Alderman Traboulay commented on the fact that there was no reference in the report or the previous months’ report to some trouble that had occurred at the Poco Freeze, Coase Meridian Road. The City Administrator was asked to obtain details of this incident for Council's in- formation. From the Fire Chief, being a report of the operation of the Fire Depart- ment for the month of June, 1974. This report was received for information. CORRESPONDENCE & PETITIONS: From the Wrong Side of the Tracks Action Association in connection with a School Patrol for the Hastings Street - Lougheed Highway intersection.
