Re: Reserve Fund Expenditure By-law - Library Furnishings

I have been advised by the Fraser Valley Regional Library that further funds
have been received from the Library Development Commission to provide Grants
for furnishings. Council will recall that from a grant received by .the Board
earlier this year, the sum of $13,700. was allocated to Port Coquitlam. From
the current Grant, our portion is $39,324., therefore we will have allocated
to date, a total sum of $53,024. This final Grant allocation is subject to
.'Yatification of the Fraser Valley Regional Library Board at their meeting

Wednesday, September 29th.

Our Tax Sale Lands Reserve Fund Expenditure By-law No. 1457 has now been
received from Victoria with departmental approval, however, with the new
allocation ef funds it will not be necessary to adopt this By-law and I

would suggest that final adoption be withheld.
