THE WESTERN CANADIAN LUMBER WORKER 7 1-80’s ANNUAL ET AND DANCE Local 1-80’s Third Annual Shop Stewards and Committee Members’ Banquet and Dance held November 15, in the modern new Village Green Inn, at Duncan, proved to be the finest social ever staged by the Local Union. The affair is sponsored annually by the Local .Union in appreciation for the dedicated work of the Committee Members and for the numerous sac- rifices made by their wives throughout the year while their husbands are attending to the affairs ‘of the Union.
