A Bylaw to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port MAY 4- {987 Coquitlam to dispose of a portion of Road shown dedicated on Plan 2678 in District Lot 232, Group 1, New Westminster JAY 25-1987 District in exchange for other portions of District Lot 232, Group 1, New Westminster District, to be estab! ished as Road. WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquittam is desirous of cancelling a portion of Road shown dedicated on Pian 2678 in District Lot 232, Group 1, New Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia; WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the lands described in Section 2 of this Bylaw has agreed to convey the said lands to the City so that they may be established as additions to the Road in District Lot 232, Group 1, New Westminster District; AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbla, 1979, provides that tne Cauncil may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in’ open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized To convey to the Registered Owner of the lands described in the next Section hereof ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows: Alt that portion of road dedicated on Plan 2678 in District LoT 232, Group 1, New Westminster District as shown hatched on an explanatory plan certified by G.C. Sunvick, British Columbia Land Surveyor dated the 23rd day of Aprii, 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto; at or for the price or sum of $1.00 in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of tand described in the next Section hereof. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to purchase of and from the Registered Owner thereof ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises which may be more particularly described as fo! lows: All those portions of District Lot 232, Group 1, New westminster District, included within the heavy outline on an explanatory pian certified by G.C. Sunvick, British Columbla Land Surveyor dated the 23rd day of April, 1987 and described thereon as Parcel 5, Parcel! 6, Parcel 7, Parcel 8, and Parcel 9, with areas of 3722m4, 72.0m2, 66.7m2, 56.8m% and 253,7m2 respectively, a copy of which is attached hereto; at or for the price or sum of $1.00 in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land described in the preceding Section hereof.
