Tender for small vehicles:

We have received bids for Toyota vehicles for the Building Inspector, Ralph
Palmer, and for the Fire Prevention Officer. We decided to stick with the

. Toyota vehicles as purchased last year in an attempt to standardize the fleet
and as the Toyotas have been more popular with the drivers and with cur
mechanic at the City Yards. ! : . |
Tenders were received on the basis of two vehicles as shown in the follow- ce ™“
ing summary. The bidders have been contacted and the unit price per vehicle
will remain the same if a third vehicle is purchased.

Dog Incinerator:

I was asked to peruse the cost and design details of the incinerating unit

required by the S,P.C.A. and report back to Council. A meeting was held

with the Administrators of the other two municipalities, Mr. Hosegood, and

questione? on the design criteria for the unit and also the price. It was
