Freeman, Acting City Administrator SUBJECT: Justice Building Trailer - R.C.M.P. Office Accomodation Under date of March 15th, 1983 the Municipal Manager-Clerk of the District of Coquitlam advised that Coquitlam Council had passed the following recommendation: "THAT, subject to the concurrence of the City of Port Coquitlam, authority ‘ be granted to. the Purchasing Agent to call for tenders for the sale of the trailer. situated at the R.c.M.P. Justice Building on an "As Is" "Where Is" basis; : . AND THAT, upon return of the tenders, the Municipal Manager-Clerk report to Council on tenders. received and a recommendation on acceptance or rejection; AND THAT, should a tender for the said trailer be accepted, the cost of - disconnecting services and restoring the site be deducted from. the amount ; “received prior to distribution of remaining funds to the City of Port Coquitlam and the District of Coquitlam which woulda be done on the basis of cost sharing under which the unit was originally purchased." The City contribution towards this trailer when it was originally set up was $6,294.26 which was 33.925% of the total cost and we will therefore be receiving that percentage when the trailer is sold. ; I.would recommend that the Council concur in the action proposed to be taken. by the District of Coquitlam respecting the sale of the Justice Building Trailer; SUBJECT to Coquitlam's Municipal Manager-Clerk's report to Council on tenders received being forwarded to Port Coquitlam Council for acceptance or rejection as well as to the Coquitlam Council.
