Last week the Pacific Tribune exposed the forgery published in the July’
4th edition of the Prince Rupert News by reprinting the full page advertisement
in which the forged letter appeared. Above is reproduced the original letter and
the forged version published by the Prince Rupert paper as part of the anti-

union drive in that city.

Peace Arch, Organizers .of the
march, the Committee for Peace
and Self-Determination in: Viet-
nam, say the march will focus
attention on the Hiroshima Day
rally.

Monday night, youthful mem-
bers of the committee began leaf-
leting concerts, football games,
and the film festival, drawing
attention to the march and rally,

“The widespread opposition to
the Vietnam war that exists in
all sections of the population has
got to be mobilized,” said one
young committee member. The
leafleters found a good response,
and many people bought the “No
More Hiroshimas” buttons the
committee is distributing,

The Committee plans further
leafleting at the Sea Festival,
which will bring American war-
ships to port, In addition, the
members are busy distributing
buttons, preparing posters, and
using every occasion to build a
broad expression of opposition
to the war,
