Thursday 10:00 a.m, Blackwater Trail - Discover
nautre on the trail with the naturalist. Meet at the
bulletin board at Lakelse Lake picnic site. 114 hour.

7:30 p.m. Stories of the Stars - Learn how the con-
stellations got their names. Meet at campsite nr. 71 for
an hour's talk.

9:00 p.m. Night Discoveries - Some nights a short
walk, others a trip by car to an active beaver pond.
Bring your car to the bulletin board at Furlong Bay
beach, One hour or less.

Friday 10:00 a.m. Tall Timber - A 2 hour ramble
through the cool shade of a mature forest. Meet at the
sani-station near the gatehouse.

1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Questions? - Meet the naturallst
for tea and examine items on display. Come to the
residence located opposite to the entrance of cam-
pground loop 21-62.

7:30 p.m. The Spring is King - What fish is this?
Want to know where to fish? Copies of the fishing
regulations will be available. Meet a campsite nr. 71
for an hour of fishing stories.

Saturday 10:00a.m. Mud Slide! -See the destruction of
this old slide, and how the area is recovering. Meet at
the notice board in the picnic site across from the Park
Headquarters. 2 hours. .

1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Kid’s Jamboree - Bring the kids
toa variety of events to be held at the park residence.

7:30 p.m, Evening Talk - Have a topic that interests
you? Ask the naturalist 2 nights before andshe will.
research it for you. Otherwise the subject will vary
from bears to Indians. Meet at campsite nr. 71, 1 hour.
Sunday 10:00 a.m. Car Tour - Bring your vehicle and
hiking boots for a trip outside the park, Meet at the
Furlong Bay turnaround. 2-3 hours. — .

1:30 p.m. Kids Time Out - Special events for kids on
Furlong Bay beach. Watch for the naturalist during
this 2 to 3 hour event.

7:30 p.m. Horns or Antlers? - What's the difference?
Come and find out at this evening's chat at campsite
nr, 71. 1 hour. ,
Monday 10:00 a.m. Blackwater & Cool Winds - A walk
to Blackwater Creek and back along the lakeshore.
Meet at the bulletin board in the picnicsite, 1 hour.

Afternoon Park Rover - The naturalist turns in her
feet for a set of wheels. Watch for her marked vehicle
and stop to talk!

730 p.m. Delights and Disasters - Know your
berries! Which are edible? Find out at this evening’s
talk at campsite nr. 71. 1 hour.

On all hikes, children under the age of ten should be
accompanied by.an adult.
