The area is currently designated as "Local Commercial" in the Official Community Plan; the applicant has submitted an appiication to amend the OCP to "Residential". DISCUSSION: The subdivision will create six residential lots which exceed the 500 m2 minimum site requirement under the zoning bylaw. The subdivision requires a development variance permit for lot width for the RS-1 zoning requirement of 15 m (49.2 ft.}. Approval of this Rezoning Application will permit six new single family residences which will blend with the appearance of the existing area and meet the concerns of the surrounding residential property owners.
