That Council give their support in the form of a letter to the Honourable John Cashore,
Minister of Environment, Lands and Parks, for an initiative on recycling used motor oil and
suggesting they consider an alternative to the use of plastic containers as recycling companies
will not accept them because they have been contaminated with oil.

From the Deputy Engineer, December Ist, 1992 regarding Ministry of Highways - 1993
Revenue Cost Sharing Grant.

That a 1993 Revenue Sharing Highways Grant Application of $536,300 be submitted to the
Ministry of Transportation and Highways for the reconstruction of Kingsway from Westwood to
the Coquitlam River at an estimated cost of $1,072,600.

From the Director of Planning, December 3rd, 1992 regarding Development Variance
Permit Application No. 94/92 for 2432 Kitchener Avenue.

That Council pass a resolution authorizing the Planning Depertment to prepare
Development Variance Permit 94/92 for 2432 Kitchener Avenue subject to:

a. Submission of a subdivision pian to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning;
b. Satisfaction of Engineering Department requirements;
Submission of a conceptual subdivision layout for the balance of the block; and
The applicant holding an information meeting for all property owners that may be affected.
