Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Mabbett
stated in his opinion the 1~hour parking on McAllister Avenue would make
it difficult for the Senior Citizens to park while bowling.

that STOP signs be installed on Liverpool Street and on Sefton Street at - Liverpool &
Sefton Streets

Salisbury Avenue and that Salisbury Avenue be stopped at Vincent Street. at Salisbury.

under the Revenue Sharing Act and stating that the Committee would like
to submit the construction of Kingsway Avenue from the end of the 1978
construction to Broadway Street; and the construction of the section of
Eastbank Road from Marpole Avenue to McAllister Avenue.

That the Public Works Committee be authorized to apply to the
Ministry of Highways and Public Works under the Revenue Sharing Act for
the construction of Kingsway Avenue from the end of the 1978 construction
to Broadway Street; and for the construction of the section of Eastbank
Road from Marpole Avenue to McAllister Avenue.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution
Alderman Laking made an amendment to withdraw the construction of the
section of the Eastbank Road from Marpole Avenue to McAllister Avenue.
The question was then called on the resolution as amended.
