Re: Public Health Inspector Appointment — Mr. Roy Wong

Mr. Wong has been appointed by the Ministry of Health to fill the
Public Health Inspector vacancy. created by the Resignation of
Mr. Brent Price,

Under Section 44 of the Health Act, municipalities appoint Public
Health Inspectors to carry out the requirements of the Health Act
and. Regulations made pursuant to the Health Act in their area,
Mr. Wong is qualified as cutlined in Section 46 of the Health

Act and I therefore request that Mr. Wong be appointed by the
City Council as Public Health Inspector in the City of Port
Coquitlam.

Although Mr. Wong will work mainly in the Coquitlam area,

red due to holidays or sickness to work in Po
Coquitlam. Also would you please check and see if Mr. Tom Moore,
Mr. Steve Martin, Mr. Jim Pannu and Ms. Dorrit Sorensen have
been appointed, and if not, please have them appointed.
