BY-LAW NO. 1435

A By-law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Waterworks
Regulation By-law, 1970, No. 991".

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. Clause (b) of Section 6 of the "City of Port Coquitlam

Waterworks Regulation By-law, 1970, No. 991" as enacted by the "City of

Port Coquitlam Waterworks Regulation By-law, 1970, No. 991, Amendment By~

law, 1973, No. 1240" is repealed and the following substituted:
"(b) At the time of making the application referred to in Clause

(a) of this Section the applicant shall pay a fee calculated

at the estimated cost of installing the water service."
2. ; Clause (c) of Section 6 of the By-law is repealed and the

following substituted:

"(c) In the event that a connection requires a water meter said

water meter shali be included in the cost of the connection.
The maintenance of said water meter shall be carried out by

the City at the expense of the consumer."

3. This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the "City of Port
Coquitlam Waterworks Regulation By-law, 1970, No. 991, Amendment By-law,

1976, No. 1435".
