Kirk DATE: May 14, 1992 City Adrninistrator FROM: LR. Zahynacz, P. Eng. City Engineer SUBJECT: That Council approve the installation of "No Parking - 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday" signs on the west and north side of Humber Crescent adjacent to Mary Hill Elementary School. The Public Works Committee Meeting considered the attached memorandum from the Project Technician dated April 30, 1992 regarding a letter dated April 22, 1992 from Susan Breau, President, Mary Hill Elementary P.A.C., requesting childzen playing/playground/school/no stopping/no parking/no residential parking only signs along Humber Crescent. Restricting stopping on Humber Crescent would require the children to crosa additional streets during drop off/pick up times creating additional safety problems. It is therefore recommended that "No Parking" signs be installed along Humber Crescent adjacent to Mary Hill Elementary School which would allow parents to drop off and pick up children while not permitting vehicles to park all day on the street.
