BACKGROUND: A Rezoning and Development Permit Application haa been received for the construction of a 36 unit apartment budiding at 2285 Pitt River Road. The site ia currently zoned RS~1 (Large Lot Residential) and is designated aa "Downtown" in the Official Community Plan. The proposal is to rezone the property to RM-5 (Downtown Apartment Residential). The project is subject to the design guidelines for the Downtown Development Permit Area. veeal
