Article 2.2 Construction Cost and Estimates of Construction Cost Article 2.3 Client’s . Responsibilities The Architect shall evaluate the Client’s Construction Budget and shall prepare estimates of the Construction Costas previously set out in this agreement. Neither the Architect nor the Client has control over the cost of labour, materials, or equipment, over the Contractor’s methods of determining bid prices, or over competitive bidding, market, or negotiating conditions and therefore the Architect cannot warrant Cr represent that bids or negotiated prices will not vary from the estimate of Construction Cost. If the lowest bona fide bid or lowest itegotiated propofal exceeds the latest approved estimate of Construction Cost as sepéut in paragraph 2.1.11 by more than 10%, the Client shall: (a) give written approval of an increase in the Construction Budget, or (b) co-operate in revising the scope or gpfality of the VWork as nec- essary to reduce the Construction (c) authorize rebidding or renegotiaefng of the contract, or (d) terminate if the project is gbandoned, in. accordance with paragraph 3.5.3.
