Under date of June 1980 Council members received the final report and recommendations
from the Greater Vancouver Regional District Task Force on the need and role
for a Regional Economic Development Body. ,

The list of recommendations is reproduced on the reverse side of the memorandum
and, in the report, these recommendations are supported by 65 pages of explanatory
material.

Mayor Laking inquires as to Council's views on this report and the need for
the establishment of a Regional Economic Development Body in the Greater
Vancouver Regional District.
