Quarter of Section 6, Township 40, Plan 2324, New Westminster District in

exchange for sufficient, land to relocate the said Road.

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous

of cancelling portions of Road and Lane shown dedicated in the Northwest Quarter

of Section 6, Township 40, Plan 2324, New Westminster District in the City

of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia;

- - AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2

of this By-law has agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange for
the lands comprising the portions of Road and Lane shown dedicated in the Northwest
. Quarter of Section 6, Township 40, Plan' 2324, New Westminster District, to be

cancelled;

, AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 255 of the Revised

Statutes of British Columbia, 1960, provides that the Council may by By-law
dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary
for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting
the highway; . . . i

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City
of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

2. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized

to convey to the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this
By-law, ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises
which may be more particularly described as follows:

(a) All that portion of Lane in Block 14 of the North West One Quarter

Section 6 Township 40, New Westminster District as shown dedicated

on Registered Plan 2324, included within the green outline on
By-law Plan sworn by Robert M. Reese, B.C.L.S. and dated the 18th
day of August 1978, a copy of which is attached.

All that portion of Salisbury Avenue, Stratford Street and Toronto

“Street in the North West One Quarter Section 6 Township 40 New

Westminster District as shown dedicated on Registered Plan 2324,

included within the green outline on By-law Plan sworn by

Robert M, Reese, B.C.L.S. and dated ‘the 18th day of August 1978,
