Environmental steps USSR cleans its rivers There are 336 big and small riv- ers flowing into the gem of Siberia, Lake Baikal, the largest reservoir of fresh water in the been used for a long time for timber-drifting, which inflicted serious wounds on nature. In recent years, two general sec- retaries of the Guatemalan Party of Labor, B. Alvarado Monzon and U. Al- varado Arellano, were brutally killed in quick succession in Guatemala. In Brazil, leading members of the Com- munist Party and the democratic opposi- tion are disappearing without a trace in prisons.
