The total construction cost is estimated at $414,000 to divert sewage from Handley P ump
Station to Freemont Pump Station. Thia amount does not include provision for sheet piling,
well pointing and the possibility of supporting sections of the sewer line on piles. The estimate
also assumes that the existing pumps at Freemont will be kept in use for the next 5 to 19
years. A $40,000 allowance should be provided for upgrading tho pumps and electrical system
for future PWWF as required.

This compares with the tendered amount of $383,516 for the construction of a new Handley
Crescent Pump Station.
