Dear Sirs:

Tt refer to our several recent discussions with regard to
final completion of the facilities in Fvergreen Park and to turning
the park over to the city. ;

There is’ general agreement that the work is now virtually
complete and that the construction has been carried out in line
with the standards set by the Land Use Contract and the Parks Speci-
fications and drawings. The Land Use Contract set a standard of
$100,000.00 for park improvements and facilities. The cost to date
for the completed work, not including repair and maintenance, is
$110,291.26.

In addition, there are several areas in which we have done
a significant amount of work (in excess of $18,000.00) beyond the
work envisioned by the Land Use Contract:

1. An automatic underground irrigation system was installed
with Nu-West bearing the cost of the irrigation system and
the city bearing the cost of the automatic equipment.

2. At least eight additional storm water drains have been

installed along the perimeter of the park.

3. The area along Cedar Drive, lying between the drainage
ditch and the fence, has been prepared, sceded with grass
and planted with shrubs.

4. The softball diamond infield has been regraded and grassed.
