A Bylaw to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port gee 48 1085
Coquitlam to dispose of a portion of Road shown dedicated
on Reference Pian 65841, District Lot 379, Group One,
New westminster District, in exchange for sufficient
land to relocate the said Road.

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam is desirous of cencelling a
portion of road shown dedicated on Reference Plan 65841, District Lot 379, Group One,
New Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British

Columbia;

AND WHEREAS the Registered Owners of the land described in Section 2 of this Bylaw
have agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange for the lands comprising
the portions of Road shown dedicated on Reference Plan 65841, District Lot 379, Group
One, New Westminster District to be cancelled; ; ,

AND “WHEREAS the "Municipal Act being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British
Columbia, 1979, provides +Wat the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a
highway in exchange for such tands aS may be necessary for the Purpose of improving,
widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Counci! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam,
in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: ‘

V The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam is hereby authorized to convey +o
the Registered Owners of the tands deseri bed in Section 2 of this By!aw, ALL AND
SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of tand and premises which may be more
particularly described as follows: ’

All that portion of road shown dedicated on Reference Plan 65841, District Lot
379, Group One, New Westminster District shown hatched on, a reference plan
certified by by Walter E. Frith, British Columbia Land Surveyor dated the 1Cth
day of December 1985, a copy of which is attached hereto;

at or for the price or sum of $1.00 and In exchange for those certain parcels or

tracts of land described in the next Section hereof.

2. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam is hereby authorized to purchase of
and from the Registered Owners thereof ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or
tracts cf land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows:
All those portions of Lot 13, Block |, Plan 1213, and Lot B, Block 1, Plan 14654

of District Lot 379, Group One, New Westminster District shown within the heavy

outline on a reference plan certified by Walter E. Frith, British Columbia Land

Surveyor dated the 10th day of December 1985, a copy of which is attached hereto;

at or for the price or sum of $1.00 and in exchange for those certain parcels or
tracts of land described in the preceding Section hereof.
