Grade 9 student at Mary Hill Junior Secondary School

swims in the summer with the Port Coquitlam Marlins Swim Club
placed second in the 100 metre Individual Medley with a time of
1:18.16 seconds

quite a feat considering she had to compete against senior

high school students

Lynn, myself, and the principals of the four schoois that participated
in our program appreciate that the City of Port Coquitlam recognizes
the accomplishments of these students and that it co-operates with us
to make the program a success.
