PORT COQUITLAM CITY RELOCATION OF UTILITY POLES C 0 Uf 29 1978 WHEREAS the removal and/or relocation of British Columbia Telephone Company utility poles is frequently required when roads are widened; AND WHEREAS there is a considerable time lapse between A Bae ENOL its Lt CN Lat te ce application to the B.C, Telephone Company for relocation and the start of work by B.C. Tel: AND WHEREAS this results in utility poles remaining in the ote, She travelled portion of the newly widened road creating a very hazardous ‘situation; AND WHEREAS experience has shown that B:C. Tel can take up to eighteen (18) months after application has been made to commence pole relocation; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Union of British Columbia Municipalities request the British Columbia Telephone Company to give this work a higher priority.
