The Engineer had reviewed this specific request to see
whether suitable locations exist for the installation of Signs.
There are no locations where a sign can be installed completely
on road allowance and still be in a posttion where it fs
effective. lt might be possible to negotiate an arrangement
with @ private property to allow a sign to be installed on the
private property. However, such an arrangement is not
considered to be wise. The Committee therefore recommends that
Council! confirm Its earlier policy with respect to not signing

lanes.
