Dear Miss Taylor:

This is to confirm our meeting today whereby the Board is proceeding,
through a consultant, with the design of field up-grading at Terry Fox
Senior Secondary at an estimated cost of $65,000 and Mary Hill Junior
Secondary -School at a cost of $137,000.

The plans for these fields will be sand and all-weather construction,
including sprinkler systems, in the hope that they will provide excellent
play surface for the public and school use.

We recognize that you are unable, within your limited budgetary resources,
to contribute substantially towards the cost of up-grading these fields
beyond $18,000 that has been allocated for Mary Hill Junior Secondary
School.

However, we do agree that once the drawings and specifications for these two
fields are complete, we will meet again and review a specific joint
maintenance agreement covering these two new fields over and above the
existing maintenance agreements that are presently in place which are in

need of review.
