THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM The Lieutenant~-Governor in Council. Province of British Columbia. The Petition of the City of Port Coquitlam HUMBLY SHOWETH: 1. That the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has by By-law No. 1543 cited as the "Cedar Drive Park Road Closure By-law, 1977, No. 1543" stopped up and closed to traffic a certain portion of roads and lanes dedicated by Plan 2281 therein described} 2. That the said By-law No. 1543 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam on the Thirtieth day ef May, 1977 and a duly certified copy is attached hereto; 3. ‘That The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is the registered owner of all the adjoining and contiguous lands and the holder of an interest therein has consented to the closure of the said portion of roads and lanes dedicated by Plan 2281 and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has agreed to accept title to the land comprising the same; 4. That the portion of roads and lanes dedicated by Plan 2281 described in the said By-law No. 1543 has never been opened to traffic nor has public money been expended thereon and it is desirable to close the said portion of roads and lanes to provide for the more convenient occupation of the said Property as a public park; 5. . That by Resolution dated the Thirtieth day of May, 1977, the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam authorized the presentation of a Petition to the Lieutenant-Governor in Council praying for the abandonment of the said portion of roads and lanes dedicated by Plan 2281 so stopped up and closed to traffic; THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the said portions of roads and Janes dedicated by Plan 2281 described in By-law No. 1543 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and the vesting of title to the land comprising same in The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam.
