BRITISH COLUMBIA GUILD OF POTTERS 315 W. Cordova Vancouver V6B 1E5 June 1974 The first Committee Meeting for the Guild's Pottery Sale took Place at Clare von Hausmann's home and was successful. The second Committee Meeting will be held at Nancy Star's home, 2507 W.45% Ave (off Arbutus), Vancouver, at 10 a.m. July 22nd. Please note again the Pottery Sale date: November 15 and 16 1974 at the East Cultural Centre, 1885 Venables. Bring only your GOOO POTS, no seconds; your pots will be checked. CERAMICS '75 will definitely take place in the beginning of the year; February will be the month; specific date and location to be decided and announced. The GUILD'S TOUR OF STUDIOS (in place of the picnic) will be held on Saturday, June the 22nd 1974. We meet at Gordon Thorlaksson's studio (Handcraft House, 110 W.Esplanade, North Vancouver, 988- 6942) at 10 aem. Gordon's studio will be the first one to be visited. The second studio will be Ruth Meechan's, 11785-252nd St.Maple Ridge, 463-6681. The wine and cheese party will be held here, so bring your own brews and booze, cheese and what-have-you. Ruth will provide coffee. The third studio to be visited will be Harry Venema's, 34917 Harris Rd, R.R.1, Matsqui. .
