April 30, 1990/096 A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held prior to the Council meeting of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, April 30th, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, M.R. Wright and W.W. Stewart in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, Parks and Recreation Director K.J Taylor, Director of Community Planning C. Felip, City Treasurer J.G. Maitland and Director of Building Inspections and Permits J.D. Shardlow. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay advised that the following proposed Bylaw would now be considered: Bylaw No. 2493: to rezone 1. Section 905(1)(k) and Section 905(1)(1) of the "Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240” are repealed. Section 906(1) of the Bylaw is amended by renumbering the present clause (c) as clause (d) and inserting the following as a new clause (c): "(c) Retail sales of groceries, and confection occupancy maximum 60 m2 (645 sq-ft.) accessory to a service station use.” "(Cc) Retail sales of groceries, and confections, occupying a maximum floor area of 60 m* (645 sq.ft.) accessory to a service station use.” All land in the City zoned CS-1 (Highway Commercial) and CS-2 (Service Station) is affected by the proposed amendments. The following people spoke regarding the proposed amendments: Mr. John Campbell, 2789 Shaughnessy Street spoke in favor of the proposed amendments « Mr. T.
