A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held
prior to the Council meeting of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlan
held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy
Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, October 1st, 1990 at 7:30 D.M.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D. Gates,
J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, M.R. Wright and W.W. Stewart in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy
Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Engineer I. Zahynacz, Director of Community

Planning C.R. Felip, Director of Building Permits and Inspections J. Shardlow
and Fire Prevention Officer D. Madden.

ZONING PUBLIC HEARING:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay advised that the following proposed
Bylaw would now be considered:

Bylaw No. 2542

to establish the area extent and regulations for Development Permit Area
"VIII".

For property locations refer to maps attached to Council Agenda.

A letter was received from:

S. Osberg, 3156 Raleigh Street, objecting to the loss of potentially
productive agricultural land.

J. Seager, 1185 Dominion Avenue submitted a letter outlining concerns
for the ingress and egress from the Lougheed Highway into the development,
concerns regarding flood plain reports and traffic patterns in the area.

The meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
