From the City Engineer, september 17th, 1990 regarding Household Hazerdous
Wastes Collection Event.

Moved by Alderman Laking:
Seconded by Alderman Keryluk:

That Council approve the participation of the City of Port Coquitlam in
the Regional Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event to be held on October
27th and 28th at the B.C. Transit site at Coquitlam Centre.

That Council approve the expenditure of up to $11,000.00 from the
Environmental Protection Budget for this purpose,

From the City Engineer, September 20th, 1990 regarding Mary Hill Bypass
Upgrading Contract.

Seconded by Alderman Gates:

That Council award the Tender for the Mary Hill Road Upgrading to Jack
Cewe Ltd. based on the Tendered price of $743,294.12.

From the City Engineer, September 17th, 1990 Tegarding Recycling Program.

Moved by Alderman Keryluk:
Seconded by Alderman Laking:

That, the City of Port Coquitlam:
a. use the plastic bag method of curbside pickup of recycled materials;

b. commence the City Program for curbside pickup of recycled material after

the GVRD awards the Contract for processing and marketing of recycled
materials;

provide curbside pickup of recycled materials to all single family and
multi family residences.
