Parking Restrictions on Pitt River Road North of Cameron Avenue
(Public Works Committee Meeting November 1, 1989)

Recommendation:

That "No Parking at Anytime" restrictions be imposed on the west side of
Pitt River Road from Cameron Avenue to a point 30 metres north.

That the City Clerk be instructed to amend the Traffic Bylaw to reflect
the changes as stated in Recommendation 1 if approved.

Background and Comments:

The attached letter from Ms. McKay of 1748 Pitt River Road provides the
background on this matter. The Committee has ascertained that the sight
distances at this intersection are quite poor, The proposed parking
restrictions will improve this situation, The Traffic Sub-Committee therefore
supports MS. McKay's request.
