From the City Engineer, September 12th, 1975, advising of an application received to subdivide Lot 1, Plan 16411 into two lots fronting on Oxford Street, which proposed subdivision does not meet the frontage requirements of the Subdivision of Land By-law but does meet the frontage exemption policy adopted by Council June 5th, 1972. The City Engineer, in his memorandum, further advised that the lane to the North of property in question is constructed to a gravel standard and access to a carport located at 3032 Oxford is from this lane; therefore, it is unlikely that the necessary consent from all adjacent property owners would be obtained to close the lane. Moved by Alderman Thompson: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That as requested in a memorandum from the City Engineer, September 12th, 1975, the proposed Subdivision of Lot 1, Plan 16411 be exempted from the Subdivision By-law frontage requirements as provided for in Section 712(2) of the Municipal Act. RESOLUTIONS: Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Thompson: That the Agreement between Ellwood Properties Ltd. and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam as Grantors and Ellwood Properties Ltd. as Grantee wherein The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam grants an Easement over its Right-of-Way registered at the New Westminster Land Registry Office on the 25th day of August, 1972 under No. H88132 to Eliwood Properties Ltd. be approved; AND THAT His Worship the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign the said Agreement on behalf of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and affix the Corporate Seal thereto.
