"You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To" is a single channel video projection where the roles of aggressor and victim are blurred and violence is truncated, ruminating upon the fact that fear is a complete construction within one's own perception of self. Kirsten Forkert is a Vancouver-based artist working in installation, performance and text. Her practice, which is often site-specific, investigates relationships between the public and larger social and economic structures as they play out in urban space. Michael Harris is a freelance writer and an employee at the notorious Little Sister's bookstore. His work appears regularly in Vancouver newspapers."
