BACKGROUND: The proposal is to demolish the existing

, commercial building and redevelop by
construction a new One-storey commercial
building with 3460 square feet of retail
space,

The property in question is within the
boundaries of the Northside Commercial
Centve. The present zoning of CS-1 is
inappropriate for the area.

RECOMMENDATION: The Committee recommends that the application

be advanced to Public Hearing.
