Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Traboulay: That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, July 5th, 1978 the walkway from Coast Meridian Road to Larch Way be deleted from the developer's requirements and that the developer be required to install a six-foot chain link fence in place of the five—foot chain link fence shown on the developer's approved drawings. Carried. From Alderman P.F. Ranger, July 5th, 1978 recommending that the 33' road allowance east of Coast Meridian Road and south of the proposed development at 2986 Coast Meridian Road be left in its present condition. Alderman Laking asked that the monies collected from the developer, of approximately $6,000.00, for the completion of the 33' road allowance, be used to complete the storm sewer installation and that any remaining funds be refunded to the developer. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That as recommended by Alderman P.F. Ranger the 33" road allowance east of Coast Meridian Road and south of the proposed development at 2986 Coast Meridian Road be left in its present concition; AND THAT the monies collected from the developer of approximately $6,000.00 be used to complete the storm sewer installation with any remaining funds to be refunded to the developer. BY-LAWS: The City Administrator advised that By-law No. 1609, which will authorize Council to enter into a Land Use Contract with William Rudy for a proposed neighbourhood pub to be located at 1929 Brown Street is available for third reading.
