That the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has by By-Law No. 1696 cited as the “Elgin Road and Lane Plan 2214 Road Closure By-law, 1979, No. 1696" stopped.up and closed to traffic a certain portion of Road and Lane dedicated by Plan 2214 therein described; . 2. That the said By-law No. 1696 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam on the date shown on the duly certified copy attached herto; 3. That the registered owners of all the adjoining and contiguous lands have consented to the closure of the said portions of Elgin Road and Lane dedicated by Plan 2214 and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has agreed to accept title to the land comprising the same; 4. That the said portion of Elgin Road and Lane dedicated by Plan 2214 described in the said By-law No. 1696 has never been opened to traffic nor has public money been expended thereon and it is desirable to close the said portion of Elgin Road and Lane to provide the more convenient subdivision of the adjacent and contiguous lands. 5. + That by resolution the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam authorize the presentation of a Petition to the Minister of Municipal Affairs praying for the abandonment of the " said portion of Elgin Road and Lane dedicated by Plan 2214 so stopped up and closed to traffic; THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the said portion of Elgin Road and Lane dedicated by Plan 2214 deseribed in By-law No. 1696 of The Corporation of the City ‘of Port Coquitlam and the vesting of title to the land comprising same in The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam.
