8. In subsection 809(5)(b), the table heading “required back yard depth"
is deleted and replaced by “required front yard depth”.

9. Subsection 902(1)(h) is deleted and replaced with the following
provision:

"(h) Parking lots and parking structures, subject to “Development
Management Bylaw, 1987, No. 2242”."

10. Subsection 505(4) is deleted and replaced by the following provision:
"(4) FENCES
Except as otherwise provided in this Bylaw, fences, wails or other
screens not more that 1.2 metres in height may be sited on any portion of
Lot. Fences, walls or other screens not more than 2.5 metres in height may be

sited to the rear of the required front yard, in yards not adjoining a
flauking street.”

ll. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Port Coquitlam Zoning
Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240 Amendment Bylaw, 1988, No. 2397",

Purpose of the Proposed Bylaw:

To amend "Port Coquitiam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240" to enact
clarify miscellaneous provisions with respect to matters ineluding
prohibition of more than one kitchen in single family and duplex dwelling
units, provision of play area for child care uses, definition of
accessory uses and siting of fences.
