something you should look for. If
you're like most drivers, you've

~ probably never seen it before.

As you round the corner onto

Kenney, not far from the bottom of .

the hill, your eyes are probably
focused on the entrance to Walsh
Ave. You have to be careful here;
there are vehicles tuming in &
number of directions. But if you
look to your right and up a little,
- you'll see a pedestrian crosswalk
warning sign.

Yes, there’s is a crosswalk at
Walsh and Kenney. It’s been there
for years and school kids use it
every school day. If this is news to
you, take comfort in one thought.
Obviously you’ve never run down
a pedestrian. in that intersection,
because if you had, you would be
painfully aware of the crosswalk
there.

But the city is taking steps to
eliminate the hazard. If it hasn’t
already been installed, Public
‘Works crews will soon be putting
up a sign west of the comer to
‘warn drivers that there’s a cross-
walk ahead. For anyone who didn’t
