Definition of a Scab

The Oxford International Dictionary describes
a scab as: a low scurvy fellow; a scoundrel;
a workman who refuses to join an organized
movement on behalf of his trade; to behave as
a scab or a blackleg. The same dictionary
describes a blackleg as a worker willing to
work for a master whose men are on strike;
to take the place of a worker on strike.
