SUBJECT: Parkland -—- Hyde Creek Estates

Recommendation

That the $300,000 earmarked for the development of the
parkland, as outlined in the attached map; be transferred
to the parks fund.

Background & Comments

The Parks & Recreation Master Plan is nearing completion and the
department is getting ready to proceed with the conceptual design
work for the new park. A survey of the boundary of the park is
presently being undertaken. Once this hag been completed; design
work will start and a public meeting will be held with the residents
in the surrounding area.
