RECOMMENDATION: That this report be received as information.

COMMENTS:

‘In the Planning Department 1982 Budget, a sum of money was
included. for Consultants and temporary help. The Planning
Department is in the process of hiring a U.B.C. Planning School

student for the summer months.

Responsibilities of the summer student include assisting,
gathering analysis and putting community plan information in a
usable format. It is anticipated this position will be for
three months and have a gross Salary of $5,000. ;
