Sharpe Street not open to traffic as yet, and Mayor Campbell advised he would contact
cut-off

Alderman Mabbett referred to the new Sharpe Street cut-off that is

the Department of Highways in an effort to ascertain the expected date

of completion.

4 opening-new swim.

4 pool complex, opened on September 2nd for approximately two weeks, and that the proposed

W Ave. programmes will be forthcoming. Alderman Mabbett further advised that
the City Engineer had requested consideration be given to proceed with
landscaping at the complex and that he understood funds were available

for this purpose.

Moved by Alderman Mabbett:

That the City's Parks Superintendent be authorized to proceed with
landscaping at the new swimming pool complex on Laurier Avenue provided
funds are available therefor. Carried.
