Six wecks ago, Nancy Laura
Spungen, the girl-friend of
English punk rock star Sid
Vicious, told her parents:
“Pll never make it to 21. I'll
gu uul in a blaze of glory.”

Miss Spungen died in a
New York City hotel
Thursday at age 20 of a stab
wound lo the abdomen and
was buried Sunday, Vicious,
21, whuse real name is John
Simon Ritchie, is charged
with secund-degree murder
in the death,

“She was burn in pain and
lived in pain all her life,”
said her father, .Frank
Spungen, the day before her
funeral.

needed an immediate
change of blood in an effort

to stabilize her central
nervous system.

Nancy, who
