SUBJECT: Development Variance Permit
Poco Place Mall - Parking Lot Redesign

RECOMMENDATION:

That as recommended by the Director of Community
Planning in his memorandum of May 29th, 1987 a Development
Variance Permit be approved to amend the property's C.D.
Zoning Bylaw for the redesign of the parking access and the
removal of tree planters, subject to compensatory
landscaping being installed in the vicinity of where tree

planters are removed.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

Pursuant to instructions issued by the Council at its
meeting of June 6Th, 1987 the owners and residents of
property surrounding the subject property have been advised
that Council are considering issuance of this Development
Variance Permit at ifs meeting of July 20th, 1987.
Accordingly, at this time written or verbal submissions
should be considered by the Counci |! and a decision reached as
to whether or not the Development Variance Permit should be

issued.
