That a letter be written to the Honourable W.N. Vander Zalm, Minister

of Municipal Affairs, with a copy to the Honourable A. Fraser, Minister
of Transportation, Communications and Highways, expressing the City's

appreciation for the approval otf funding under Part V of the Revenue

Sharing Act Regulations for Kingsway Avenue in the amount of $198,495.00.

Carried.

Prior to passaye of the foregoing resolution Alderman Traboulay

asked for clarification of the Provincial grant and Alderman Laking

advised it was for the completion of Kingsway Avenue up to McLean Avenue.

Discussion then ensued on the Proposed road construction.
