MEETING The next general meeting of the Potters Guild of 3.C. will commence at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 16th at Van Dusen Gardens, 37th and Oak Streets, This month there will be a discussion about oxidation firing led by Barbara Barron. You are invited to bring your own glaze tests and pots, your ideas, and questions. In a “round table" manner, we will exchange experiences and discuss the many avenues o7en to the electric kiln potter. The additions bring the book up-to-date on new materials and techniques that are coming into use in the field. Some of the additions are a result of the author's own recent kiln building experience. The first chapter, "Refractory Materials and Applications", is rewritten and expanded. Explanations are clearer and more detailed. Information has been added about new ceramic materials being used by studio potters é
