SUBJECT: Parking on Gately Street - Public Works Committee
March 3, 1987

Recommendation:

That parking be prohibited between the hours of 8:90 a.m.
and 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday on the west side of Gatel
Street between The south entrance to fot 125, plan 63714 and a
point 20 meters south of the entrance.

Background and Comments:

Parking has been prohibited previously on the east side of
Gately Street due to the narrow width of the road. Despite
This, there is a problem at the intersection with Ticehurst 3
Lane because of the acute angie of the intersection.

Our
garbage trucks still have difficulty swinging the corner trom

the lane to Gately Street due to vehicles parked on the west :
side. It is therefore desirable to restrict parking during the ;
working hours. Parking in the evening and on weekends would

still be allowed.
